ADITYA (ADY) MANRAL

Lucknow Christian College, B.Com., Commerce; Lucknow University, Post Graduate, Advertising and Public Relations

During his time at Lucknow Christian College in India, Ady served as a key member of the cultural society, planning and organizing various inter-college cultural events. After spending a couple years working in advertising, Ady moved to the Himalayas and joined Woodstock International School as a dorm parent. There he had the opportunity to be part of an expedition that successfully summited Banderpoonch, a 20,600-foot peak in the Himalayas. During his time at Woodstock, he led many other cultural trips and treks around the country for students. Besides mountaineering, Ady is also a motorcycle enthusiast and has biked all over Rajasthan as well as embarking on a six-week trip to Bhutan from Mussoorie, India. Ady is Wilderness First Aid certified and is fluent in English and Hindi.

LIZZIE TRIBONE

Kenyon College, B.A., Religious Studies, B.A., Asian Studies

At Kenyon College, Lizzie focused on the history and religious traditions of South Asia. While studying abroad in India at the University of Hyderabad during her junior year, she focused on Indian literature in translation and international gender studies. Since graduating, she has worked in the publishing industry, doing editorial and publicity work for publication houses such as W.W. Norton & Company and Penguin Random House. This fall, Lizzie will enroll in a dual M.A./M.Sc. program at Columbia University and the London School of Economics for International and World History. Lizzie is proficient in Hindi.
